Uphold Login — practical sign-in, recovery & safety

Clear, actionable instructions to sign in to Uphold, use app push or 2FA, recover access if needed, and protect your account from phishing and fraud.

Step-by-step: How to sign in

1
Open the official site.

Manually type https://uphold.com/ into your browser or use a saved bookmark. Confirm the lock icon and correct domain before entering any credentials.

2
Click “Log In”.

The login button is usually top-right. Provide your registered email and password on the secure page. If you use a password manager, allow it to fill the fields to avoid typos.

3
Approve via the Uphold app or enter 2FA.

Uphold often supports app push verification (QR / push) on web logins — approve directly in the mobile app. If you use TOTP 2FA (Google Authenticator, Authy), enter the 6-digit code when prompted. App push is fast and avoids typing codes; TOTP remains a solid fallback.

4
Complete any device verification.

For new devices, Uphold may send an email verification or enforce additional checks. Only confirm via the official site or the app; ignore unexpected prompts from third-party links.

5
Signed in — review your dashboard.

After sign-in, briefly review recent activity and linked devices/settings. If something looks unfamiliar, log out and contact support immediately.

If you can't access your account

Use the Forgot your password? link on the login page to get a reset email. If you can’t access your email or lost your 2FA device, submit a recovery request from the Uphold Help Center — be ready to provide identity documents and details of recent transactions for verification.

Recovery tip: keep screenshots of error messages and any support ticket IDs. They speed up resolution and provide an audit trail.

Exporting records & statements

Once logged in, go to activity or statements to download CSV/PDF reports for tax or personal records. Save copies in at least two secure places (encrypted drive + trusted cloud). Regular exports make reconciliation or disputes much easier later.

Why this matters

Uphold holds assets and sensitive financial data. Strong login hygiene — unique passwords, app-based verification, verified links, and regular exports of statements — dramatically reduces the chance of unauthorized access and simplifies recovery if something goes wrong. A few minutes spent securing your account today can prevent a major headache tomorrow.
